9.2 Modify tilt

"Candela Advanced " - "Modify tilt", which allows batch modification of tilt angles for the entire project or selected areas of the arrays.

9.2.1 Select type

After click, the users need to select the type first. The software provides three below options: "Select area to modify tilt", "Select array to modify tilt" and "Modify tilt of all arrays".

The function of "Select area to modify tilt" can be used only after done the create zones division in "Create zones"; Similarly, users need to select a num or several num arrays using SU select tool before selecting "Select array to modify tilt".

9.2.2 Relevant parameters

After the selection is completed, the software will auto pop up the modify tilt parameter settings interface:

"Change type": The software provides three type: "Keep center", "Keep virtual front edge" and "Keep real front edge".

1) "Keep center": That is, keep the center of the array unchanged.

2) "Keep the virtual front edge": The virtual front edge is the front edge of the virtual rectangle of the array in 2D; import to CAD, when array is drawn as a rectangle, the front edge of rectangle before and after modify remains unchanged;

3) "Keep real front edge": The real front edge is the front edge of the real projection of arrays in 2D. When the array actual parallelogram is drawn (open the su_line_array layer), the front edge of the parallelogram remains unchanged;

When check "Following the slope", users can set the parameters of the south slope and the north slope respectively.

When selecting zone to modify the tilt, when selecting "Following the slope", slope refers to the average slope of the terrain below the arrays. After modify, the tilt of each array in a layout area is still the same.

When selecting arrays to modify tilt, when selecting "Following the slope", the slope refers to the average value of the slope of each array. After modify, the tilt of each array may be different.
