Replace arrays

9.5 Replace arrays

Firstly, it is necessary to create replacement modules and arrays in the "Create PV module" and "Create array" sections.

Then, select the corresponding replacement method in the pop-up dialog box:

To select "By selected arrays", users need to use the selection tool in Sketchup to choose the arrays to be replaced. Click the "OK" button in the above picture, and the following dialog box will pop up.

The principle of "Plane unchanged, center unchanged by default" is mainly applicable to the situation where the pile has already been driven on the project site. In this mode, the plane of the two remain unchanged, and there is no need to adjust the pile position on site. When in use, the software will default to keeping the center of the arrays unchanged and automatically calculate the offset between the x-axis and y-axis (both can also be manually adjusted).

By using the principle of "Center unchanged, terrain projected", the replacing arrays will readjust its real tilt and azimuth based on its terrain, and its plane may not be on the same plane as the replaced array.

The codes of the arrays and string remains unchanged after replacement.
