9.15 Merge projects

1728092313767

Applicable scenario: The same project is designed with multiple SKPs and needs to be merged into one SKP. This function specifies an SKP as the main project, and when there is a conflict between data from different SKPs, the main project is prioritized.

Content that can be merged: Terrain, available/restricted areas, roads, shading objects, layout zones, fences,walls, grounding, PV modules, PV arrays, power blocks, transformer electrical parameters, inverters, flexible brackets, fixed tilted arrays.

Merge order:

The main project takes priority, and the rest are sorted by SKP file name.

Main principles of consolidation:

1) For the parts that conflict with the main SKP, the main SKP shall prevail.

Terrain that overlap with the main SKP will be trimmed;

According to the principle of first come, first served, arrays that partially overlap with the merged arrays will be deleted;

2) Modules, arrays, inverters, etc. with the same name and parameters will not be created repeatedly;

3) Modules, arrays, inverters, etc. with the same name but different parameters will be automatically renamed and merged;

4) If the terrain of different SKPs are the same, they will not be created repeatedly;

5) If the transformer codes and position are the same, they will not be created repeatedly, but their corresponding combiner devices and strings will be merged;

6) If the transformer codes are the same but in different positions, the codes of the merged transformers will be automatically adjusted;

7) If a array with the same name and parameters has been created with different pile parameters, it will be automatically renamed and merged;

8) The available/restricted areas, layout zones, etc. are only merged and will not be automatically merged;

9) Directly merge shading objects, fences, and walls without detecting overlap;

10) When merging grounding data, the material specifications shall be based on the main SKP.

Usage method:

1) Put the SKPs to be merged into one folder;

2) After activating the function, select the folder and the software will merge it automatically;

3) After the merge process is completed, the merge log will automatically pop up.

Other supplementary explanations are as follows:

Serial Number step describe
1 Merge "Terrain" data Terrain that overlap with the main project SKP in other SKPs will be removed; The other terrain will be merged.
2 Merge "Available/restricted areas" data
3 Merge "Available/restricted areas" sources data Refers to the list data below the "Mark available and restricted areas" interface.
4 Merge "Roads"
5 Merge "Shading object"
6 Merge "Layout zone"
7 Merge "Fence line" layer
8 Merge "Fences"
9 Merge "Walls"
10 Merge "Grounding" date
11 Merge "Modules"

1) Merge modules with different names directly;

2) If the parameters of same named module are different, rename it and merge it;

3) Modules with the same name have the same parameters and do not need to be merged.

12 Merge "Arrays"

1) Merge arrays with different names directly;

2) Arrays with the same name and parameters, and whose module names have not been changed in the previous step, will not be merged; Parameters of "Create pile" in the order of merging, with the first one with parameters as the reference;

3) For those with the same name but not meeting the conditions in 2), merge them after renaming.

13 Merge "Power blocks"

1) When the coordinates of transformers from different SKPs coincide and have same code, merge the combiner equipment and string to which these two transformers belong into one power block;

2) Except for 1), all power blocks will be merged. When there is an overlap in coding, priority will be given to retaining them in the order of merging;

3) After the merge is completed, when saving the SKP, it will check whether the imported arrays overlap with the main project. If so, the imported arrays will be deleted.

14 Merge "Electrical parameters of transfomer"

1) There are transformers with 3 or 4 of the electrical connection method in the project to be merged, and MPPT has been set up;

2) If there are electrical parameters with the same electrical connection method and consistent capacity, skip them, otherwise merge them.

15 Merge "Inverters"

1) Directly merge inverters with different names;

2) If the parameters of the inverter with same name are different, rename it and merge it;

3) Inverters with same name have same parameters and will not be merged.

16 Merge "Flexible brackets"

1) All flexible brackets are unconditionally merged;

2) The columns and foundation of the flexible bracket are defined and created by corresponding components; When merging projects, components in different SKPs will be automatically renamed by SU, even if the content is the same. Therefore, after the merger is completed, the default columns and foundation components need to be re associated with a unique default component definition, and then excess definitions need to be cleared;

3) For flexible brackets that is using templates, the component names of their columns and foundations correspond one-to-one with the template names. After merging, automatic renaming by SU maybe cause confusion, so it is necessary to update the name of template, template names in the foundation and properties, and corresponding component definition names.
