Batch Mobile Copy arrays

6.3 Batch Mobile/Copy arrays

All movements and copies in this function are based on the center of the arrays, and are carried out using a specified two-dimensional vector (horizontal projection vector).

If the east-west gap of the arrays is controlled according to the minimum gap between the actual projected parallelograms, please use the "Adjust the east-west space of the arrays" function to adjust it after completing the movement/copying.

6.3.1 Choose arrays

Users can choose the array to move in the following two ways:

  1. Use the built-in selection tool in SU software to select the array to be moved.

  1. Click the "Batch Move/Copy Array" button to automatically enter the selection array interface. At this time, the mouse pointer will display the prompt "Please select array!". In this interface, users can select a array.

The selection methods mainly include box selection and noose. The default selection method is box selection, and users can click the ALT key to switch the selection method. Note that after selecting the arrays, you need to right-click and select "Finish" from the pop-up menu.

Users can hold down the CRTL key to select multiple arrays, or hold down the SHIFT key to select arrays in reverse, ALT key to switch to select type.

After selecting the arrays, if you want to re-select the array, you can right-click and select "Reselect Array".

The software will display the quantity and total capacity of the selected array in the lower left corner of the SketchUp interface, and also display the relevant operate tip.

6.3.2 Select base point

After selecting the arrays, click the left mouse button to confirm the base point. The software defaults to capturing the center point and four outer of the array.

The software defaults to the Move state, and users can switch to the copy state by clicking the CRTL button.

After select the base point, you can use the following shortcut key commands as required:

1)Press the F2 key to switch whether to display the power block where the current strings is located.

Power block is not displayed Display power block

2)You can press the F3 key to switch whether to display array dynamic shadow.

The user can click the right mouse button to Setting the date, starting and ending time, interval, calculate range and other parameters of the real dynamic shadow.

3)Press the F4 key to enter the geodetic coordinate of the target points, with the English character "," interval in the middle.

4)Press TAB key to switch whether to open angle align.

6.3.3 Determine the direction of movement

The software defaults to capturing the orientation parallel and perpendicular to the array (click TAB to turn off angle alignment), as well as the center point of the array, the four endpoints of the outer border.

6.3.4 Determine the distance of movement

After determining the direction of movement, the distance can be determined in the following two ways:

  1. Enter the numerical value and press enter to determine the movement distance. The entered value will be displayed in the bottom right corner of the screen.

2) Directly click the left mouse button to determine the position, which is similar to copying/moving with a base point in CAD software.

When the moved/copied array overlaps with the already placed arrays, the software will prompt to delete it.
