Install SketchUP
- Download and run the installation program of SketchUp.
- Complete the installation process according to the installation guide.
- It is recommended to use the default installation path, especially avoiding installation paths containing any Chinese characters.
Open SketchUp (for the 2025 version)
Step 1: After installing SketchUp, when the user open it, a login interface will appear, Click to sign in.
Step 2: After navigating to the browser interface, click "Create a Trimble ID" .
Step 3: After navigating to the page, fill in user's name, email, set your password setting, verify your identity with the verification code sent to the mailbox, and create your SketchUp account after verification.
Step 4: After done of account create, re open the software to log in.
Step 5: It's important to note that Internet Explorer (IE)or other browsers may become unresponsive for a long time during the second or third step,. In such cases, user can copy the link, open Google Chrome, paste the copied link, and proceed with the operation in Google Chrome.
