8.3 Create fence and wall

Click the "Create fence" button and the software provides several functions: "Create fence line by arrays", "Create fence line by red line", "Create fence", "Clear fence", "Create wall", "Length statistics", and "Area statistics",.

8.3.1 Create fence line by arrays

This function can automatically create fence range lines. Select the "Create fence line by arrays" option and the following parameter setting interface will pop up.

The software defaults to creating fence lines for all areas. If this operation is only performed on some arrays, please first use SU's selection tool to select these arrays.

1. Layer name

After creating the fence range line by using parameters, the layer where the fence range line is located.

2. Arrays grouping

The software will first group the arrays based on the "Array grouping threshold".

3. The distance between the arrays and the fence

The min. distance between the arrays and the fence.

For other parameters, please refer to "5.23.2.5 Smooth grounding grid" in this manual.

The created fence range line can be manually modified by using SU's line drawing tool. Before making any modifications, please set fence_line as the current layer.

8.3.2 Create fence

After setting the "Fence height" and "Column spacing", the software will crerate fence according to the range line on the selected layer. To delete a created fence, users can click "Clear fence" on the menu.

8.3.3 Create Walls

After setting the "Wall height" and "Wall thickness", the software will create solid walls based on the range lines on the selected layer.

8.3.4 Length statistics

Calculate the actual length of the fence or wall crerated.

8.3.5 Statistical Area

Calculate the 2D area within the selected layer range line.
